ALL membership levels include complimentary acceptance into our Chamber Ambassador Program.
Altus Chamber Ambassadors are the backbone of our program of work and serve as the face of the Chamber at many events throughout the year. They welcome new businesses to town and new members to the Chamber through ribbon-cutting ceremonies and receptions and serve as event hosts at some of our major events.
Our ambassadors are service-minded individuals who believe in the Chamber's mission and help us recruit and retain members.
There is no charge to be an ambassador, but we do ask that you purchase a shirt and a name tag to wear to certain functions. These allow you to be a part of the group and also allow you to represent yourself, your business, or your civic organization while you’re also supporting and representing the Altus Chamber of Commerce.
ANYONE who becomes a Chamber member at any level also has the opportunity to become a member of the Chamber’s “Committee of 100”.
Designed to give back to the service members who defend our freedoms, the Committee of 100 is a group of Chamber of Commerce members who, for an additional $100 per year, essentially become part of Altus's “Welcome Wagon” for new residents in town, specifically newcomers to Altus Air Force Base.
The money raised through membership fees goes toward one of the several annual events the Committee holds each year to welcome people to Altus and to show newcomers to AAFB what Altus is all about.
Events include receptions, dinners, and fun outdoor activities for the whole family. This is just one way our Chamber can say “thank you” for all those service members do for us and to make them feel at home in Altus, America. This is a small investment with a HUGE return!
