Annual Altus Oklahoma Christmas Parade

Announcing This Year's Altus Oklahoma Home for the Holidays Christmas Parade Theme: Christmas Around the World!  December 14, 2024, at 6 pm

We are thrilled that the community has voted for another enchanting nighttime parade! Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 14, 2024, starting at 6 PM.
A special shoutout to Mrs. Debbie Davis, who has proudly chaired the Altus Christmas Parade for many years. This year, we are delighted to bring a theme she has always dreamed of: Christmas Around the World! Debbie envisions a parade that showcases the unique and beautiful ways different cultures celebrate this joyous season.
Imagine the magic of German Christmas markets with twinkling lights and festive stalls, the vibrant parols and colorful celebrations from the Philippines, cozy British Christmas scenes with carolers and festive decorations, the enchanting lights and traditions from Mexico's Las Posadas, and a snowy Scandinavian wonderland with reindeer and northern lights.
Each float will take us on a journey to a different part of the world, bringing the global spirit of Christmas to Altus, Oklahoma! What part of the world will you be highlighting on your float? We can't wait to see your incredible creations light up the night! Let's come together to celebrate a diverse and joyous holiday season. Stay tuned for more updates, and start planning your floats now!
