Celebrating the 2025 Altus Chamber Scholarship Recipient: Jacob Rapp
This morning, the Altus Chamber of Commerce was proud to award our annual $1,000 Educational Scholarship to a remarkable local student, Jacob Rapp, during the Altus High School Senior Awards Ceremony.
Jacob, an AHS senior graduating with a 4.0 GPA, has shown outstanding academic excellence—but what truly set him apart was his heart for service and unwavering dedication to the Altus community. His involvement spans school, church, and numerous local volunteer initiatives.
Over the years, Jacob has:
-
Volunteered through his church and local nonprofits
-
Helped organize the annual Back-to-School Bash
-
Served with Altus Teens Interact through the Rotary Club
-
Supported events at Operation Care
-
Donated his time to the Altus Animal Shelter
One of Jacob’s references wrote, “Jacob has a servant’s heart and is the epitome of a servant leader,” which perfectly reflects the spirit of the Altus Chamber of Commerce—leadership through service and community commitment.
Jacob will be attending the University of Oklahoma this fall, and we have no doubt he will continue to make a difference wherever life leads him.
We are honored to recognize Jacob as the 2025 Altus Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Recipient and proud to celebrate him as a future community leader in the making. Congratulations, Jacob!
