Laura Oldfather is our new Membership Director. Having moved to Altus in May 2022, Laura wasted no time diving into community life. Leveraging her passion for digital marketing, she founded the “Discover Altus” Facebook page to spotlight local attractions and businesses..
A U.S. Air Force veteran originally from Los Angeles, Laura brings a blend of military service and community savvy to her new role. Her primary mission is to enhance member relations, making sure each member feels valued and heard. Alongside her husband, who is employed with the MXG at Altus Air Force Base, and their three children, Laura is fully committed to enriching the Altus community.
Laura’s focus is clear: “It’s all about strengthening our relationships with members, ensuring they feel valued and heard”. Our Chamber serves as a crucial link between the business community and the public, advocating for members while fostering business growth and community ties. Laura looks forward to collaborating with local organizations to further this mission and elevate Altus.
