About Us Shortgrass Community Health Center (SCHC) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that provides services to insured, uninsured, underinsured, and underserved children and adults in Southwest Oklahoma. Our primary purpose as a clinic is to work hard to continually improve the overall health of our community. We believe that by helping improve the health of the community we can reduce the level of chronic illnesses and lessen the need for acute care in our area. Our clinic provides affordable, accessible integrated healthcare services to the residents of Southwest Oklahoma and we accept Medicare, Medicaid, Sooner Care, and most private insurance plans. Please note, all charges will be determined on a SLIDING FEE SCALE to be based on income and number in household. Our office hours are Monday - Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. To schedule an appointment for our Mobile Unit, please call (580) 688-2800.
